Vodia is entirely proprietary and designed from the ground up; not only does it have a comprehensive collection of features for our PBX.

What is Vodia PBX?

Vodia PBX is a cutting-edge IP-PBX solution explicitly designed for Managed Service Providers and Value-added Resellers. This Windows/Linux app includes many advanced features of a full-featured PBX, such as call queues, auto-attendant/IVR, call routing, parking, and more. As a result, Vodia PBX is a comprehensive business telephony solution for both on-premise and cloud deployments.

What is Vodia PBX generally used for?

Over a decade, the Vodia PBX has evolved into a software application that meets many business connectivity needs. Since its first release, the PBX has been designed for multi-tenancy on a public IP address, focusing on robustness and resilience.

What platforms does Vodia PBX support?

Vodia PBX was created with convenience and versatility in mind. It has both CPE and hosted deployments. The network, as well as the phones and SIP trunks, reflect this versatility and convenience. It can run on any central operating system, like Windows, Linux, and Mac OS. Automatic provisioning supports all SIP phones, including Polycom, Snom, Cisco, and Grandstream. Vodia has approved Broadvox, Time Warner, Vonage, Skype, Cbeyond, and several other SIP Trunk Providers. Users can make and receive several calls using just a web browser since Vodia uses WebRTC technology. End-users can also use Vodia’s Android mobile app and SIP softphones like Zoiper and Bria to answer calls from anywhere outside their office using their mobile phones and laptops.

Vodia supports all SIP trunk providers and popular SIP endpoints.

Vodia PBX Features:

To begin with, the Vodia PBX is a private branch exchange system (PBX). That means you can pass calls, hold conference calls, and hold incoming calls in a queue. The PBX, in a nutshell, binds trunks and extensions.

Extensions

Extensions are programs that link users to the device. Since office staff is vital in most businesses, it’s critical to provide them with a robust feature set to complete their communication tasks as quickly as possible. Therefore, any extension usually has a short two-, three-, or four-digit number that can be dialed easily from inside the office. In addition, any extension has the option of having her mailbox.

Trunk

The Vodia PBX uses SIP trunks to connect PBX users to the public telephone network. Most SIP trunks connect to trunk providers through SIP registrations, but the PBX also supports gateway trunks that don’t need registration. The gateway trunks are usually used for PSTN gateways located on the same network as the PBX in the office LAN. There are no restrictions on mixing the two processes.

Auto Attendant

In several office settings, calls are routed to a single phone number. This is usually the company’s “DID” in the United States and Canada, and the amount of the company without a particular reason in other nations. Thus, most calls will be redirected to the correct destination without the need for human intervention, with the caller simply entering who they want to speak with on their phone pad. This helps the offender save time. The auto-attendant is the Vodia PBX that performs that function.

Mailbox

When a user is unavailable, the mailbox receives a message and forwards it via a message waiting for notification or an email to its account.

ACD Group

In the Vodia PBX, the ACD group, also known as the agent group, automatically assigns calls to a group of extensions. The ACD routes call to a group of agents one by one. When there are too many calls for the agents to handle, the ACD places the caller on a waiting list and removes the first caller as agents become available.

Hunt Group

Hunt groups come in handy when you need to ring several extensions to locate someone who can answer a call. This is useful in low-call-volume groups where many people can answer the phone and assist the caller. Incoming calls are routed to the extensions as soon as possible, even though this results in the need to wait for the called extensions.

Conference

The PBX’s conference room will connect multiple callers into an audio conference when more than two users need to chat.

Park Orbit

Instead of keeping a call, users can park it before someone from another extension picks it up.

Paging

Extensions may receive live or stored messages from paging groups. This is a rapid method of disseminating information.
